# Platform finance

> Financial services offered across every side of a platform: buyers, sellers, merchants, contractors and partners.

Platform finance means operating the money that moves between the different sides of a platform in one consistent way. A platform can collect from buyers, hold and allocate funds, pay sellers and contractors, offer credit and settle with partners, while presenting one experience. One integration can support several financial services and several providers.
