# Sandbox

> A safe test environment with simulated data in which nothing real moves.

A sandbox lets you try the financial capabilities of a network without touching real accounts or money. Requests behave realistically and return plausible results, but everything is simulated and labelled as such. Teams use it to design and test a network before connecting live providers.
