Networks

Capability

A financial function you can use, such as accounts, payments, payouts, FX, settlement or reconciliation.

A capability is something a network can do with money: hold accounts, take payments, pay out, quote an exchange rate, settle between participants or reconcile records. Federated Banking starts from the financial outcome you need and composes the capabilities for it, rather than starting from a single bank or product.
