Settlement and reconciliation

Reconciliation

Comparing expected financial activity with the records of providers and surfacing anything that does not match.

Reconciliation compares what you expected to happen with what the providers and counterparties actually recorded. Records that agree are matched and locked; those that do not become exceptions to investigate. Doing this continuously across all providers gives a trustworthy picture of the money and shortens the time it takes to find a problem.
